 Description

Saunf or fennel seed is intense aromatic sweet menthol like flavor. It is often confused with anise due to its strong anise like flavor. Morphologically it looks similar to cumin seed as well. It is used throughout the world as spice. Saunf is often integral part of east Indian cooking such as panch phoran.
