Haldiram’s Soan Papdi is a ready-to-eat Indian dessert you can find in most Indian grocery stores in the United States. The Soan Papadi from Haldiram were nicely packaged in resealable aluminum foil box. Small square inch piece of Soan Papdi were nicely arranged. However, it had some broken pieces, perhaps due to the transport and distribution issues.

The Soan papadi had a crisp and flaky texture as well as soft enough to melt in your mouth. We were pleasantly surprised not to find a rubbery or chewy like a lot of some other readymade brands. Haldiram’s Soan Papdi has an aromatic cardamom flavors, which is somewhat unique for this type of dessert. Soan Papadi were garnished with just the right amount of pistachios and almond flakes.

Some of our tasters found the dessert to be a tad bit surgery than others. Calories in Haldiram’s Soan Papdi is given below along with other nutritional information. In summary, Haldiram’s Soan Papdi is a decent Indian dessert that is easily easily available. Click here for Soan papdi recipe.
