Burfi or Barfi is a classic indian dessert popular throughout Indian subcontinent. It is made from milk and is similar to spiced
Indian version of cheese cake or fudge.
Ingredients
1 cup khoya or khoa (alternate: unsalted ricotta
cheese)
½ cup ghee (clarified
butter)
½ cardamom powder
2 cup sugar
Preparation

Mix ricotta cheese,
sugar and cardamom.

Slowly fry the ricotta
cheese mixture with ghee in low
heat till golden color and get
consistent paste.

Pour the same in
greased plate and cut it in the 8
diamond shape.

Serve chilled.
